The new model for 2012  incorporates a host of brand new design features from the keel upwards: a great new passenger seating arrangement with hidden footrest, a detachable central cockpit table, smart new interior colours and galley layout, and now there are two double beds providing sleeping accommodation for 4 persons.  The integrated windscreen which joins the hard top to superstructure is particularly useful for boating in different climates. There is a choice of either all glass sides or a combination of glass/canvas.  Very soon, an all-enclosed pilot house version will be available with central door to cockpit.  The image above features the new optional weather shade.  All in all this is a superb model for UK boating!

The recent Southampton boat show proved very successful for Boston Whaler, as customers from all parts of the UK visited the Boston Whaler display at the Dorset Yacht Company pontoon.
A number of new orders were received for models ranging from 15 feet and upwards. Details were also released on the latest addition to the Whaler range, the fabulous new 210 Montauk, scheduled for production starting in the New Year.
On Saturday, visitors were greeted by sunny weather and blue skies, as forecasters indicated that temperatures could reach 26 degrees during the week ahead, giving great conditions for Whaler owners to look forward to.

A great day was had by all at the Whaler Owners picnic and watersport day in Studland bay,on June 4th. After gathering at the Dorset Yacht Co marina , a high turnout of sixteen Whalers, with their owners and families,had a wonderful cooked breakfast at the Lake Yard club, before cruising round Brownsea island and Green island, through South Deep and then heading across to beautiful Studland bay. After a " friendly " game of cricket on the beach, guests made their way to the secret path above the Glebe, to capture some superb views of the Isle of Wight and beyond.After some energetic sking and wake-boarding through the surf off Swanage, the families and crews made their return to Dorset Yacht Co for a champagne reception and supper. A real Whaler day !

The week-end of May 7th and 8th saw the first event organised by Sandbanks Boat Shows,held in Poole Harbour. overnight thunder and rain gave way to clear blue skies,giving visitors an opportunity to visit all the exhibits under a warm May sun.
The Boston Whaler displays proved very popular, with three new boats being shown,including the 170 Supersport, 190 Montauk, and 220 Outrage, and several new orders were taken at the show.
The fun continues at Whaler's UK base Dorset Yacht Company,where a busy start to the season is taking place, so pop down and see those fabulous Whalers before they all go !

A great week-end was had by all at the recent Boston Whaler launch of the new 170 Supersport.
A champagne reception held at the Lake Yard club heralded the latest model launch from Whaler.Guests from America included Whaler's vice president Jeff Vaughan,and chief of design and engineering Ron Berman,who made the trip from the USA for the event.
Musician Sarah Bolter provided superb entertainment with her jazz saxophone,and will be returning for our next event in June.
